Cloud Changed the Game, Not the Need for Networking
As a network engineer, I knew my cloud networking session was a bit off the mainstream track. But I accepted the challenge.
The message I wanted to share was simple:
In the cloud, networking still matters, it's just different.
Today’s cloud networks are built with code, governed by policies, and deeply tied to identity, automation, and platform limitations. But the core principles of connectivity, security, performance still apply.
I was glad to see people show up, engage, and ask great questions. It proves there's real interest in understanding how networking fits into the modern cloud world.
To my fellow network engineers:
You still have a role in the cloud. Just be ready to adapt, learn, and collaborate more than ever.
